Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about Hilltop Urban Farm! When did you officially open?

We are proud that Hilltop Urban Farm is generating the attention of media and individuals alike! In 2019, our Youth Farm, public education, volunteer events, and tree planting opportunities opened to the public. The first class of farmers in training began growing on the land in 2019.

Where is Hilltop Urban Farm located and when are you open?

Hilltop Urban Farm is located at 700 Creswell Street in Pittsburgh, PA.

The farm is very active during the growing seasons with farmer incubators, youth, volunteers, and employees but we are not currently open to the public without a prearranged tour (see next question).

My organization and I want to tour your grounds. How do we schedule a tour?

We currently hold regular public tours at our monthly volunteer events, from 11 am to 12 pm. However, special group tours can be arranged by emailing Sophia@hilltopurbanfarm.org.
